SEAN BOWEN: 'HOPEFULLY HE CAN PICK UP HIS THIRD SUCCESS'

12:35 Cheltenham – Kate O’Riley

This is a competitive-looking juvenile contest, but my filly had some good form on the Flat and she prevailed in her first appearance over hurdles at Ludlow last month. The form of that race has worked out well, with the horse she beat winning next time out. James Owen obviously thinks a lot of his filly to throw her in here and I am sure she will run a big race.

14:20 Cheltenham – Theatre Native

Theatre Native is obviously a good mare, with one of her victories coming over this course and distance. Looking at her form, her best performances have come on ‘Good’ ground, so the weather forecast is a concern. Her run at Limerick last time should have fine-tuned her for this race. Jagwar, Il Ridoto and Panic Attack look like the ones to beat, but if my mare handles the ground she could outrun her odds.

14:55 Cheltenham – Long Draw

It was a good run from Long Draw at Cheltenham last month on his first outing of the season. He was staying on strongly at the finish and I am sure he will come on for that appearance. This horse loves it around Cheltenham, so I always feel like he has a great chance here. I am excited to get back on board and hopefully he can pick up his third success at this course.

15:30 Cheltenham – Kap Boy

Kap Boy relishes soft ground, so if all the rain that is forecast to fall does get into the ground that won’t be a problem for him. It was his first run for Olly Murphy last time and we were delighted with it. He won by seven lengths at Perth over 2m4f and he would have prevailed with much more weight on his back. This horse is only six years old, so it is exciting to see what he can develop into.

16:00 Cheltenham – Celestial Tune

This is an excellent spare ride to pick up in the bumper. She was second at the Punchestown Festival at the end of last season and after a good break, she won comfortably at Listowel back in September. This will be my first ride for Thomas Cooper, and it gives me a great chance of ending the day with a winner.

JOE TIZZARD: 'I CERTAINLY THINK SHE CAN RUN A BIG RACE'

13:52 Uttoxeter – Blacksamssenorita

This mare is now eligible for a double GBB [Great British Breeding] bonus which totals £20,000, so we’ve been patiently waiting for the right opportunity for her to try to win that valuable prize. Only five have been declared for this handicap chase, which should be an advantage for her debut over fences as it’s not a bigger field with all the hustle and bustle there could be.

She’s schooled very well at home and although her last run over hurdles was over two and a half miles, she's won over two miles so I’m not concerned about dropping back in trip here. She’s got form on soft ground too, so I’m hoping she has a great chance of winning the money. I certainly think she can run a big race.
