13:40 Fakenham – Jukebox d’Eddy
I’ve not ridden Jukebox d’Eddy before, but he seems to have run OK on his last couple of starts. He’s down in trip from recent runs as well, which hopefully will help him, and he does get in here off a very low mark, so while he’ll need to improve, the weight won’t be a problem.
14:15 Fakenham – Mohawk Chief
This fellow ran well here last time, he just got a little bit outpaced but then ran on well to take second. He should sharpen up for that experience, and with that course run behind him, and an extra half a mile to race here, I think he goes there with a bit of chance.
14:45 Fakenham – Game Colours
I’ve not ridden this mare before, but she’s finished second on her last two starts, and looks to have a fair mark for her handicap debut. She’ll like the trip and ground, so hopefully she’s a nice spare to have picked up.
15:20 Fakenham – Getbazoutofhere
Getbazoutofhere has had a good season, winning twice, and placed on the other two occasions. I rode this mare last time, when she finished strongly to take third spot in a competitive race at Cheltenham. I actually think she’ll enjoy this course more, and should travel better, and off a feather weight, is not without an each-way chance.
