13:15 Cheltenham – Prince Imperial
I know Prince Imperial well from Olly Murphy’s yard and this will be his first run since switching to Jake Coulson’s stable. He is probably a little high in the weights now, but he seems to run well every time he appears. It will be a tough ask with the weight he has on his back, and this is a competitive race, but I am sure he will give it his best shot.
13:50 Cheltenham – Alnilam
I am looking forward to getting back on Alnilam. He was very good on his chase debut at Uttoxeter last time beating Country Mile, who he now must give a penalty to, which makes things a little bit harder. I think this lad will have improved from his last run, and the whole team is really looking forward to seeing what he can do on his second start over fences.
15:00 Cheltenham – Sir Galahad
Sir Galahad has been a good horse for us. His last run around Market Rasen was probably his best. Un Sens A La Vie looks to the standout runner in this field and the one to beat. He only ran 10 days ago, so he is making a quick reappearance. My horse is very straightforward, he’ll race properly, and he stays well. I think he will run a big race.
16:10 Cheltenham – Percy Shelley
Percy Shelley prevailed at Uttoxeter and then had a walkover at Ludlow. He had some good form on the Flat. This will be only his second start over hurdles, so he does lack the experience many of his rivals have. We liked what we saw from him at Uttoxeter, so if he can build upon that, he’ll be in the mix.
