13:32 Aintree – No Risk Des Flos
He ran well at Stratford last time out in what was his first run since having a wind-op, finishing second to L’Eau du Sud. Dan Skelton’s runner has since won a Grade Two contest at Cheltenham, so that form has taken a big boost.
I am really looking forward to this ride as I think he has a great chance of going one place better off this mark.
14:07 Aintree – Now Where Or When
I don’t know much about this horse, but it is always good fun to have a ride around the Grand National Course at Aintree. This horse ran over 3m5f last time out at Downpatrick in the Ulster National, so he should have no stamina issues. The betting suggests he will need to show much more in this field but hopefully, he can stay on at the finish when others have cried enough.

14:42 Aintree – Static
He has been knocking on the door this season, finishing a close second in a Listed race at Wetherby and then a Grade Two contest at Cheltenham. The soft ground will suit him. James Owen’s runner is the favourite here, but he only just beat my horse by a neck at Wetherby. I think we have a massive chance in the race.
15:17 Aintree – Tamar Bridge
I’ve never ridden this horse before, but Olly told me he is in good form at home. It was a good run back at Uttoxeter after a long lay-off. Olly has two runners in this race, so I have chosen him over Pyramid Place. He is a C&D winner and hopefully, he can record another success at this course.
