Banker of the Day

It's Irish Derby Weekend at the Curragh, as well as the Northumberland Plate Festival at Newcastle, plus there's a quality Premier Raceday from Newmarket on Saturday too – so this week's Banker of the Day covers all three!

We've picked out four leading contenders from four of the biggest races and are asking you, our Coral Racing Club members, if you had to vote for one to be your Banker of the Day, who would you pick?

The horse who gets the most votes will be put into an exclusive Coral Racing Club Odds Booster that will be available under Specials on the Horse Racing page shortly after the poll closes on Friday at 1pm.

Banker of the Day Preview

14:04 Newcastle – Kinross

Kinross had another season to remember last year, with two Group 2 victories and a further three placed efforts in Group 1 contests. He makes his first start of this season at Newcastle this weekend in the Group 3 Chipchase Stakes, looking to land his eleventh success under rules in his career.

Can he kick off his season in style on Saturday?

14:50 Newmarket – King Of Conquest

King Of Conquest seems to have found his form this season, having scored his first win in four runs at the start of this month, when romping home in a Listed race at Goodwood. Prior to that he finished second in a Group 3 at Newbury and two unplaced efforts at Newmarket at Bahrain.

Can he go back-to-back at Newmarket?

15:25 Newmarket – Noble Dynasty

Noble Dyansty returned for the first time in over a year in a Group 3 at Meydan in March, finishing fifth out of sixteen runners, and only two lengths off the winner. He followed that up with a strong front running performance at Newmarket last time out and goes back over the same course and distance on Saturday, looking for his second victory of the year.

Can he claim his first Group level victory this weekend?

15:30 Curragh – Bluestocking

Bluestocking heads the market in the Irish Pretty Polly Stakes on Saturday, after having won on her only start of the year so far last time out in the Group 2 Middleton Fillies' Stakes at York. She steps back up to Group 1 level following that, as she aims to land her first victory at the very top level.

Can she keep up her form?
