Banker of the Day

Sandown and York host premier racedays this Saturday, including a handful of competitive handicaps and two Listed contests, so that's where we're heading for this week's Banker of the Day poll.

We've picked out four leading contenders from four of the biggest races and are asking you, our Coral Racing Club members, if you had to vote for one to be your Banker of the Day, who would you pick?

The horse who gets the most votes will be put into an exclusive Coral Racing Club Odds Booster that will be available under Specials on the Horse Racing page shortly after the poll closes on Friday at 1pm.

Banker of the Day Preview

14:05 Sandown – Dancing Magic

Dancing Magic sits atop the market in the 14:05, despite never having won a race in his thirteen career starts. He was gelded at the end of last year and made his comeback over course and distance in April, finishing 6th out of 21 in a hot handicap contest. He was last seen finishing a strong second place at Chester over seven and-a-half furlongs.

Can he shake his maiden tag on Saturday?

14:40 Sandown – Adaay In Devon

Adaay In Devon heads the betting in the Scurry Stakes, having won twice in five starts so far this season. Both of those wins came over the minimum five furlong trip and he returns to that distance on Saturday, having finished third and then second in his last two runs which were over six furlongs.

Can he get back to winning ways at the weekend?

15:00 York – Relentless Voyager

Relentless Voyager claimed his first career victory on turf last time out on Derby Day at Epsom, winning a valuable Class 2 Handicap by a comfortable three lengths. His only other victory to date came on the all-weather at Kempton in March of last year. Both of these wins came over a trip of one mile and four furlongs, and he steps up in trip to a mile and six furlongs for the first time this weekend.

Can he go back-to-back for the first time at York?

15:35 York – Elmonjed

Elmonjed is a lightly raced three year old, having only made three starts so far in his career. The gelding won his first two races, both of which were over six furlongs, before stepping up to seven furlongs in his seasonal reappearance a month ago, where his finished 6th of 15.

Can Elmonjed claim his third career win back down in trip this weekend?
