Banker of the Day Preview
12:40 Newbury – Jeriko Du Reponet
Jeriko Du Reponet was the focus of a lot of attention on his debut at Newbury earlier this month. Nicky Henderson tried to play down his ability before the race, but the gelding was sent off at 4/11 for his first start, which he won at a canter over the course and distance he runs at on Saturday.
Will the joint favourite for the Supreme continue his undefeated run this weekend?
13:15 Newbury – Martator
Martator heads back to Newbury after finishing a good second over course and distance last time out earlier in the month. Although he's without a victory over fences, he's yet to finish outside the top three since making the switch.
Can he get off the mark on Saturday?
13:50 Newbury – Get A Tonic
Get A Tonic is another of this weekend's runners that goes back to the same course and distance that they were seen winning at last time out. The Skelton's seven-year-old hacked up on Coral Gold Cup Day at the start of December, winning by eleven lengths at a huge price of 28/1.
Can she string together back-to-back course and distance victories?
15:00 Newbury – Willmount
Another undefeated prospect, Willmount, heads the betting in Saturday's feature race, the Coral Challow Hurdle. He was a winner of two races under rules for Neil Mulholland, before switching to the powerhouse stable of Nicky Henderson in October. The leading trainer sent him out a month later and the gelding didn't disappoint, claiming victory in by thirteen lengths here at Newbury.
Can he keep his undefeated record intact on Saturday?
