Who's your Banker in the St Leger on Saturday?
The final English Classic of the season takes place on Saturday at Doncaster, as the St Leger takes centre stage at 15:35, but we want to know who you think wins the race.
We've taken the top four in the market, all of whom have strong claims in the race, and want to know if you had to pick one to be your banker in the race, who it would be.
The horse who gets the most votes will be put into an exclusive Coral Racing Club Odds Booster that will be available on Saturday morning under Specials on the Horse Racing page.
Banker of the Day Preview
GREGORY is in the hands of Kieran Shoemark for the first time on Saturday. He had won his first three races, including once over 1m6f, before being beaten by St Leger rival Continuous over 1m4f in the Great Voltigeur at York. Will the step back up in distance help John and Thady Gosden's stable star reverse the form?
Top trainer Aidan O'Brien sends four to Doncaster for the St Leger, with two-time Group winner CONTINUOUS headlining his entrants. This will be the first time that the colt has raced over the extended 1m6f trip, but he was a convincing winner over 1m4f at York last time out. Can he claim his first Group One victory and Aidan O'Brien's 7th St Leger?
Frankie Dettori chose to make a late switch to ride ARREST following the rain that's hit Doncaster this week. John and Thady Gosden's second entrant in the race holds very solid form on softer ground and was last seen winning the Group 3 Geoffrey Greer stakes at Newbury on good to soft ground. Will Frankie's switch prove to be a shrewd one?
The last Royal winner of the St Leger came when Dunfermline landed the spoils back in 1977 and William Haggas sends DESERT HERO out for the King in Saturday's headline race. A winner of four races, including the Group 3 Gordon Stakes at Goodwood on soft ground, the colt certainly has the ability to be victorious this weekend. Can Tom Marquand steer him to victory again?
