Banker of the Day Preview
13:50 Ascot – Rous Stakes
A winner of two Group races, EMARAATY ANA lines up in the Ascot opener with solid claims. The seven year-old has placed in his last two outings, both Listed contests over six furlongs, and steps down in trip aiming to win his first race since the Sprint Cup at Haydock in 2021. Will the drop in distance see him taste victory again?
14:25 Ascot – Cumberland Lodge Stakes
AL AASY was denied a hat-trick of Class 1 victories when narrowly beaten in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last month. He teams up with regular jockey Jim Crowley again on Saturday, as they bid for their fourth Group 3 victory together. Can the Shadwell gelding get back to winning ways with a second course and distance success at Ascot?
15:00 Ascot – Bengough Stakes
COMMANCHE FALLS has already been victorious three times in his last four runs, including a win in a Group 3 contest at Newbury in July. Michael Dods hasn't slowed down with him this season, running him both sides of the Irish Sea in strongly run races and the experienced gelding has clearly benefitted from this. Can he score for the fourth time this season on Saturday?
15:15 Newmarket – Sun Chariot Stakes
INSPIRAL holds the best form in this year's renewal of the Sun Chariot Stakes, having won four Group 1s in his career to date, including an impressive victory at Deauville in August. The colt can take his career earnings over £2m on Saturday with the winner claiming £165,000, can John & Thady Gosden's superstar colt justify his short proce favouritism and scoop the pot?
