York Ebor Day Four – who's your Banker of the Day?

The fourth and final day of York's 2023 Ebor meeting hosts another set of top class races, including the Group 2 City of York Stakes and of course, the headline contest of the week – the Ebor Handicap.

We've picked out four of the best from Saturday's action at York, and you've got one vote to pick your Banker of the Day. Who's it going to be?

The horse who gets the most votes will be put into an exclusive Coral Racing Club Odds Booster that will be available on Saturday morning under Specials on the Horse Racing page.

The card kicks off with the Group 3 Strensall Stakes, where Sir Michael Stoute's NOSTRUM is well fancied. The colt already has one Group 3 victory to his name after winning the Tattersalls Stakes last year, but was caught in the final furlong in a Group 3 at Glorious Goodwood last time out. Can he bounce back with another win on Saturday?

KINROSS won the City Of York Stakes last year for Ralph Beckett and Frankie Dettori, and he looks to repeat the feat this weekend after staying on strongly to win the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood earlier in the month. Can he go back-to-back?

The £300,000 Ebor Handicap is next on the card, where SWEET WILLIAM aims to win his fourth race in-a-row following convincing wins in handicap company at Doncaster, Newbury and Goodwood. Can the gelding put up another incredible performance in the headline race of the festival?

The Roses Stakes is the final listed race of the meeting, and PUROSANGUE is solid at the top of the market for Oisin Murphy and Andrew Balding. The colt scored in fine fashion at Haydock on debut before going to Goodwood and being narrowly beaten by the Michael Appleby-trained Big Evs.
