Who was your Star Performer at Royal Ascot?

Royal Ascot 2024 certainly didn't disappoint last week, serving up five days of equine excellence as some of the biggest stars of the sport raced their way into the annals of history.

From Charyn's blistering victory in the opening race of the week, the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes, to Uxmal's comfortable success in the final race of the week, the Class 2 Queen Alexandra Stakes, we weren't short of incredible performances throughout the week.

Rosallion lit up the first day with a battling victory over Henry Longfellow in the St James's Palace Stakes, winning his third Group 1 in the process.

Day two saw Auguste Rodin confirm his status as one of the greats, with a classy win in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes and Running Lion got back into the winners' enclosure for the first time in over a year with a resounding win in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes.

Shareholder opened Thursday's card with a front running victory for Karl Burke & Wathnan Racing in the Norfolk Stakes, before Kyprios overturned the form against a resilient Trawlerman to win the Ascot Gold Cup.

Friday began with one of the greatest escapes ever seen on a racecourse, with Ryan Moore somehow guiding Fairy Godmother to victory, despite being boxed in and never getting a clear run at the race. Inisherin won the Commonwealth Cup in comfortable style, streaking clear of the field by over two lengths and the well supported Porta Fortuna beat her two main market rivals to win the Coronation Stakes for trainer Donnacha O'Brien.

One of the most impressive victories of the weekend came in Saturday's opener, the Chesham Stakes, where Bedtime Story bolted clear to win by almost ten lengths to a field that appeared to be star struck by the filly's turn of foot. Later in the day, Khaadem scored back-to-back wins in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, a year after shocking fans with his 80/1 success. And last, but certainly not least, Haatem finally got his flowers after finishing third and second in the British and Irish Guineas in his last two starts, with a win in the Jersey Stakes.
