Who was your Star Performer of the Weekend?

The flat season in the UK made it's comeback this weekend, with the Lincoln card at Doncaster, and we also saw some top quality action over the jumps at Newbury and Ascot too.

At Doncaster, Charyn opened the card with a powerful victory in the Doncaster Mile Stakes, before Montassib battled under Cieren Fallon to score a narrow victory in the Cammidge Trophy Stakes. In the feature race of the day, Mr Professor sprung a shock, winning the Lincoln at 33/1, after taking a strong lead with a furlong to go before keeping on well despite idling towards the finish.

At Newbury, Heltenham continued the Skelton's excellent form by getting up in the last half a furlong to beat Sir Psycho, before All The Glory put in a wonderful performance to win the Grade 2 Mares' Chase in comfortable fashion.

At Ascot on Sunday, Martator made it two-in-a-row with a solid victory and Sam Brown won nicely in the Veterans' Chase.
