All The Glory back home and recovering well after a difficult run at Market Rasen

16 Apr 2026
All The Glory made her seventh appearance of the season at Market Rasen on Tuesday, however, she had to be pulled up before the fourth fence from home.

Firstly, the positive news coming from the team at Jackdaws Castle is that following additional tests, no abnormalities have shown up in the results after All The Glory was examined once more after being scoped and checked at Market Rasen soon after the race.

It was a little bit unusual, as well as uncharacteristic of her to stop as quickly as she did in her race, given that she appeared to be travelling nicely up until that point. When we spoke to Richie McLernon, her jockey on the day, he said she had made a noise in running, which is why he pulled her up pretty quickly after jumping the tenth fence.

All The Glory trotted up fine yesterday morning, but trainer AJ O'Neill told us that they will carry out a couple more tests and keep a close eye on her as she recovers at home before seeing if they want to run her again over the next couple of months. Having only been pulled up once before in her career, as mentioned this was quite unlike her, so the team will cover all bases to ensure her well-being is looked after ahead of anything else.

We'll be keeping in touch with Jonjo and AJ over the next couple of weeks to see how All The Glory is doing, so be sure to keep an eye out on the Coral Racing Club for the next update.
