Lofty targets for our exciting new prospect as All The Glory hits career high mark
Knowing now that she can go on an easier surface does widen our options going forward, although I would add we’d still want to leave plenty of fuel in the tank for the spring, as we know she does go so well on a better surface.
We’ll keep an eye on her as she’s had three runs in the last couple of months, but that shouldn’t be an issue, and if she’s in good form at home, there are several potential targets we can look at. The first of them is a two miles Mares’ Hurdle at Ascot on 18th January. This may come a bit too soon, but we’ll keep our options open.
A week later there are two possible races at Doncaster. Over three miles, there is the Grade 2 Yorkshire Rose Mares’ Hurdle. We haven't tried her over this trip yet, but as we’ve said, we weren't sure about Southwell on that ground and she stayed on well, so again, we’ll keep it under consideration.
On the same card, there is a 2m 3½f 0-145 Handicap Hurdle. She’s rated 135 after an eight pounds hike for her last win, so there shouldn’t be any issue getting into that race. There is lots to look forward to with her, so we’ll keep you posted.
