Earlier this month, we broke the news that Annie Mc was set to be sold at the Goffs December National Hunt Sales over in Ireland.

She made her way over there a short while ago to settle in, and on the big day her number one fan, Chris Hughes, travelled to Dublin to join her as she went under the hammer alongside some other big ticket names.

She was lot number 762, meaning she would be sold on the final day of the auction and with no reserve price attached, the bidding started at the lowest possible amount. It didn't take long for her price to shoot up and after several minutes of back and forth between a handful of bidders, she was sold to Will Kinsey and the team at Peel Bloodstock for €68,000.
