WATCH: Annie Mc back out cantering ahead of possible Huntingdon entry

21 Jan 2023

The swelling on Annie Mc’s leg has gone down and our vet was happy to give her the green light to resume training which was good news. We cantered her yesterday morning and she moved well and seems in a really good place with herself.

All being well we will make the entry today for next Friday’s Lady Protectress Chase at Huntingdon. We will need to keep an eye on the weather and the going descriptions as there doesn’t seem to be much rain around and we’d like some cut in the ground. There are a couple of other options in early February at Exeter and Wetherby should conditions at Huntingdon be too quick, but let’s see how the next few days go.

She’s a yard favourite and all the team are looking forward to seeing her out on track again.
