Aspire To Glory learns valuable lesson at Brighton
Aspire To Glory may have finished towards the rear at Brighton yesterday but the run has given the team plenty to think about as they look ahead to his next outing.
Returning just a few days after his encouraging effort at Yarmouth, Aspire To Glory travelled into the race with blinkers on before, sadly, just finding the final stages one step too far. Jockey, Suraj Narredu, felt that the five-year-old simply ran out of gas late on, suggesting that a return to a slightly shorter trip could suit him much better.

Aspire To Glory has been in excellent order at home and the team remain confident that there is much more to come. He has shown on a number of occasions that he possesses the ability and the enthusiasm; with the right conditions and perhaps a drop back in distance next time, there is every reason to remain optimistic about the weeks ahead.
Not every day on the racecourse goes to plan but every run is another opportunity to learn. Yesterday's performance may just prove to be an important stepping stone as the team continue to find the ideal recipe for Aspire To Glory.
