Cast No Shadow makes a quick return to Newcastle on Wednesday, for his second run at the course this month.

After a mammoth 280 days off the track, Cast No Shadow returned over his favourite course and distance earlier in the month. Although he finished down the field that day, there were reasons to be positive, as he broke from the stalls well and raced prominently throughout most of the contest.

That lack of race fitness shouldn't be as much of an issue this time out, as that run should have freshened him up nicely as we head into the all-weather season.
