Cast No Shadow has been declared to run in the Class 5 Restricted Novice Stakes (18:00) over five furlongs at Newcastle on Friday evening.

It'll be the third time that Cast No Shadow has run over this track and trip, having finished second by a short-head on his first appearance there, before finishing fourth in the run after that. 

Jason Hart has been booked to ride him again, after coming incredibly close to victory onboard our colt twice before, including when second at Southwell last time out.
