Cast No Shadow was just a little bit sore after some recent work, so we’ve treated his knee joints and given him an easy week or so. 

It wasn’t bad timing by any means, as there hasn’t been a suitable race at Newcastle for him, his last run was in 0 – 88 company, and he did find that a little bit too deep for him, so I was keen to drop him back to his level.

He was dropped a pound after that last run, so he’s now rated 75. With that in mind, there’s a 0 – 75 over five furlongs at the track on Friday 6th December, so we’ll aim for that. It gives us time to get him 100% right, and we know how well he goes at the track.
