We're set for a cracking start to the weekend, with both Cave Article and Cast No Shadow set to head to the North-East for races at Sedgefield and Newcastle respectively.

Cave Article is the first to run, stepping up in trip to 3m2½f for the first time in his career, after showing promise in his chasing debut last time out where he finished third over 2m4f at Wincanton. Former three-time Champion Jumps Jockey, Brian Hughes, is booked to ride him for the second time, having been onboard for his handicap debut in October.

Next up is Cast No Shadow, who returns to the 5f trip on the all-weather at Newcastle, and looks to win his third race over the course and distance, having recorded both of his victories to date there. Regular jockey, Jason Hart, takes the reins once again on Friday evening as he looks to be the first jockey to record three victories wearing the Coral Racing Club silks.
