Cave Article has been declared to make his Coral Racing Club debut in the Class 4 Maiden Hurdle (13:30) at Doncaster on Wednesday. 

The club's newest recruit made his second and final point-to-point appearance at Ballycrystal in October over three miles, and he was only touched off that day by the highly-touted favourite, Leaky Cauldron, after making most the running.

He's set to drop down to two miles and three and a half furlongs for his debut under rules on Wednesday, which trainer Christian Williams believes will be a good starting point as he looks to gain more racecourse experience.

Jack Tudor, a talented young jockey who regularly rides for Christian, will take the reins for the our five-year-old's first racecourse run.
