Cave Article to begin chasing after receiving his opening handicap mark
We found out today that Cave Article has been given an opening handicap mark of 78. It’s obviously a low mark, and one we should be able to work with.
There is a much better horse there than we have seen on the track so far. Nick Schofield said after the race at Taunton that he will be a lovely chaser, and I tend to agree with him.
I think we should head over fences now. He has done plenty of schooling at home, so he knows how to jump a fence.
I am going to have a look through the schedule over the next few days and find something at the back end of this month. There’s plenty of rain forecast for the next couple of weeks, so hopefully, the ground will dry out by the end of April.
