I’ve opted against declaring Cave Article for his intended race at Warwick on Saturday.

We noticed this morning that he is a little sore in one of his shins. It is nothing serious, but he will benefit from a week off and some time in the water.

It is a shame we have this setback as I was optimistic of a big run from Cave Article on his chase debut. With the ground now in his favour, there will be plenty of opportunities for him at the back end of this month and into the summer jumps programme.
