Conservative has been declared to make his second start since getting his opening handicap mark, in the Class 5 Handicap Hurdle (15:25) over two miles at Plumpton on Monday.

Conservative was last seen when being pulled up at Plumpton last time out, and he heads back to the East Sussex track on Monday, stepping down in trip to two miles for the first time since his second start over hurdles. 

He travelled well for the majority of the race last time out, and just fell away towards then end, so after checking him over at home, Joe Tizzard made the decision to step him back in trip this time in the hope that it will help.
