I’ve entered Conservative to run at Southwell on Tuesday, 9th of January. That race is a 0-75 over the distance of 1m4f.

He is currently rated at 65 so we do need some other runners to drop out ahead of him, but if he gets a spot in the race, I am keen for him to run.

There are other options later in the month, including a race at Wolverhampton on the 20th of January. That is a 0-65 contest so we will see what type of mark he has ahead of the entries for that contest.

I did a light piece of work with him this morning and I am going to keep a close eye on him over the next few days. Obviously, he has had over six months off the track now, so I want to make sure he is absolutely right before he features. Once I have decided on his declaration, I will update you all 48 hours before the race.
