Diamond Days has spent most of this campaign competing in chase races, but trainer Joe Tizzard has decided to send him back over hurdles for his next run to help him regain some confidence.

After three runs this season over fences, including one in which he finished a solid fourth, which could have just as easily been a second, Diamond Days will be heading back over hurdles as we approach the business end of the National Hunt calendar. The call to send him back over the smaller flights does mean that his novice status in chase contests will be protected, and there could be some better options for him over fences at the start of his next campaign.
