Ribbon Is A Dancer is retired following latest effort at Nottingham
His latest performance came off the back of four previous contests in which he only managed to beat three rivals home, and whilst he is a lovely enthusiastic and athletic horse at home at Manor House Stables, from the honest feedback of the jockeys that have ridden him, and the evidence of our eyes, it's clear that he's not taken to racing as we'd have hoped.
Despite the unfortunate news, we are delighted that Michael Owen, who owns Manor House Stables, has found Ribbon Is A Dancer a new home with a close relative who is thrilled to be having him, and will be looking to do some ROR (Retraining of Racehorses) showing and jumping with him.
We wish him well in his new home and we'll be keeping in touch with his new owner to get regular updates on his progress in his pastime.
