Yesterday was a day to remember for the club as Sycamore and Cast No Shadow both tasted success at Nottingham and Newcastle to complete a 66/1 double on the day.

Sycamore was having just his third start for the club with trainer Scott Dixon, and he was on a mission to prove he could show what he has previously on the all-weather, on the turf, following a poor display at Yarmouth last time out.

Cast No Shadow also had a point to prove, having finished last on his two previous starts on the turf, but the return to Newcastle's tapeta all-weather track gave us optimism given the ability he'd displayed there previously.
