Raceday LIVE Preview

All The Glory's first season as a chaser is set to hit new highs as our superstar mare heads to the Cheltenham Festival for today's Grade 2 Mares' Chase (14:40), taking her place alongside the best mares in her division.

Although it hasn't all been plain sailing in the first five runs since switching to fences, All The Glory has already showed bundles of improvement this season. Since making her debut in a match up  last October at Chepstow, she's finished a length third in a really competitive Class 2 Handicap on Winter Millions weekend at Windsor and backed that up with a solid fourth place finish in Listed company at Huntingdon.

All The Glory in action at Chepstow under Jonjo Jr on her chase debut

Although this will be her first venture into graded company over fences, it won't be the first time that she's raced at the level overall having competed in graded contests over hurdles twice before. She won one of those contests, a Limited Handicap that has since been reclassified, at Newbury in 2024. The second of her Grade 2 runs came at Ascot last summer, and although things didn't go her way that day, it was good experience for her to line up against the best of the best horses in the division.

Today's field is absolutely laden with talent, and to no surprise it's Dinoblue at the head of the market for maestro trainer Willie Mullins who finished second in this race two years ago, before going one better to win last year. Panic Attack is another notable runner, aiming to win her fourth race in a row after winning Graded contests here at Cheltenham and Newbury, before returning to Newbury in January to record her hat-trick.

All The Glory (now rated 127) is the lowest rated horse with a handicap mark in today's race, however, in the past two years the Mares' Chase has seen Marsh Wren (then rated 132) finish third in 2024 and Mayhem Mya (then rated 123) finish fourth in 2025, so her rating by no means dampens our hopes of her finishing in the places if everything falls right.

Regardless of her finishing position, we're incredibly proud to even have a runner on the biggest stage of them all and we hope she can come home safe and sound. Today is a day for everyone involved with the Club to make the most of and we hope everyone is able to tune in to catch the race at 14:40.

Racing TV Analyst, Chris Dixon, previews the Grade 2 Mares' Chase at Cheltenham and tells us how he thinks the race will play out for All The Glory

All The Glory was better than the bare result when caught too far back at Huntingdon last time in a race that ultimately didn’t get to the bottom of her. However, she has plenty to find as she goes up in grade in the Mares Chase at Cheltenham on Friday. Last year’s winner Dinoblue is the one to beat & should go well for a stable that have had a great week, while Panic Attack, who has had an outstanding season also represents a stable in fine form & looks the main threat with her superior stamina potentially a help as the race could turn into a good test.

Trainer and Jockey Statistics

Jonjo & AJ O'Neill got off the mark at the Cheltenham Festival on day one as Johnnywho won the Ultima and Monbeg Genius ran a stormer in yesterday's Kim Muir to finish third. All The Glory is one of two runners for the Jackdaws Castle team today, with Wilful featuring in the County Hurdle (14:00).

Jonjo O'Neill Jr has ridden two winners from his last 19 rides over the past two weeks, but no doubt the son of Jonjo O'Neill will be hoping for a change in fortune at Cheltenham today after getting no luck from his three mounts there so far this week.
