Raceday LIVE Preview

Our Grade 2-winning mare is back! All The Glory makes her eagerly anticipated return to the racecourse at Fontwell on Thursday afternoon, with Jonjo O'Neill Jr. in the saddle as she looks to launch another exciting chapter for the Coral Racing Club. There's a real buzz about having All The Glory back in action! Our tough, talented nine-year-old mare has already given Coral Racing Club members some unforgettable moments and we're absolutely delighted to see her pulling on the famous silks once again.

Trained by Jonjo & AJ O'Neill at Jackdaws Castle, All The Glory heads to Fontwell for the Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (14:19), a Class 3 contest over two miles, five furlongs and 135 yards, with £16,000 in total prize money and £8,449.60 awaiting the winner.

It's a competitive race for our mare, who returns following a six-month break but there's plenty to look forwards to as she begins another long awaited jump season. All The Glory is no stranger to success, having established herself as a talented and wonderfully genuine performer over hurdles, with her finest hour coming in Grade 2 company at Newbury. Her career has been built on grit, guts and a tremendous willingness to battle and she's already demonstrated her versatility with victories at different tracks.

Last season saw her tackle some demanding assignments over fences, including a particularly tough test at the Cheltenham Festival in March. Her most recent appearance came at Market Rasen in April and Thursday provides a welcome opportunity to make a fresh start after her summer break. She races from a handicap mark of 123 and carries 10st 11lb, with Jonjo O'Neill Jr. renewing his partnership with our great mare.

The opposition

There's certainly no shortage of talent among the opposition, with several powerful National Hunt yards represented. Double Powerful looks one of the principal dangers for Neil Mulholland. The seven-year-old is the highest-rated horse in the race off a mark of 136 and carries top weight of 11st 10lb. A previous winner at Fontwell, he brings plenty of experience to the table and looks a serious rival. Inca De Lafayette is another to respect for champion trainer Paul Nicholls. The eight-year-old arrives with a consistent recent record, having finished in the first three on each of his last three starts. Racing from a mark of 117, he's capable of making his presence felt. Glen To Glen, representing Nick Scholfield, adds an intriguing younger challenger to the field. The four-year-old is rated 132 and receives a valuable weight allowance against his older rivals, making him another interesting contender.

It's an interesting test for All The Glory against horses at different stages of their chasing careers but our mare has already shown that she most certainly has the class and heart to compete at a high level.

The going is currently described as Good, which should provide a sound racing surface for Thursday's action. With 16 fences to negotiate around Fontwell's distinctive figure-of-eight circuit, accurate jumping and maintaining a good rhythm will be important. The track's turns and changes of direction can place a premium on balance and positioning, particularly as the field begins to quicken towards the closing stages.

There's nothing quite like welcoming one of our established Club favourites back to the track, especially a mare who has already given us so much to celebrate. Thursday is another opportunity for All The Glory to show her class, her courage and that wonderful fighting spirit we've come to know and love.

She's back, she's wearing our colours and we can't wait to see her in action. Come on, All The Glory!
