After a hugely successful career as a jockey, Jonjo O’Neill began his training career way back in 1986, moving to the state-of-the-art training facility, Jackdaws Castle, in 2001. He is well known for training the winners of both the Cheltenham Gold Cup with Synchronised and the Grand National with Don’t Push It, and he’s the only person to register a seasonal tally of 100 winners as both a jockey and a trainer. His son, A J O'Neill, joined the training licence in April this year following a short career as an amateur jockey and more recently as Jonjo's Assistant. The O'Neill team are very hopeful they can continue to have great success with this exciting new partnership.
