Naming a racehorse is one of the most exciting parts of being an owner. It’s like naming a child – and so it’s important to choose a good name as your horse will be stuck with that name throughout its racing career.
Many horses are named using clues from the names of their Sire (father) and Dam (mother), sometimes even combining them in some way. Your horse’s Sire is Cotai Glory, and his Dam is Green Boulevard. That said, your suggestions don’t have to be based on anything to do with the horse’s relatives.
Your racehorse’s trainer, Alice Haynes, says he’s a fast horse – and she’s hoping that he might be a good one, too. With that in mind, we’re looking for a strong, powerful name to match the expectations and prospects of this exciting two-year-old.
A racehorse’s name is limited to 18 characters, including spaces, and cannot include single digit numbers e.g. 1,2,3. And most importantly, it has to be available, which you can check here before submitting:
The competition closes at 23:59 on Sunday 16th April and we'll reveal the winning entry next week on the Coral Racing Club.
