Name Your Horse with Paul & Oliver Cole

We're giving you the chance to name your new two-year-old colt, trained by Paul & Oliver Cole, for the chance to win an ultimate Owner for the Day prize on his debut run!

Naming a racehorse is one of the most exciting parts of being an owner. It’s like naming a child – and so it’s important to choose a good name as your horse will be stuck with that name throughout its racing career.

Your horse’s Sire is Sixties Icon, and his Dam is Shadows ofthenight. Often horses named using clues from both the Sire (father) and Dam (mother). That said, your suggestions don’t have to be based on anything to do with the horse’s relatives.

If your entry is selected by our panel as the winner, not only will you have the honour of having named the Club’s newest racehorse, you’ll also win an ultimate Owner for the Day experience package for his debut run.

The prize package includes: one night accommodation, travel expenses covered*, free racecourse entry on the day, exclusive access to the Owner & Trainer facilities, meet the Paul & Oliver Cole team and your new two-year-old racehorse, access to the parade ring before the race, plus a 10% share of any prize money he wins on the day.

A racehorse’s name is limited to 18 characters, including spaces, and cannot include single digit numbers e.g. 1,2,3. And most importantly, it has to be available, which you can check below before submitting.
