Rockstar Icon is a chestnut three-year-old gelding who was foaled in April 2021, and he is another stablemate who was named by one of our very own Coral Racing Club members.

He showed great promise early on in his two-year-old career after narrowly getting beat in a hot Class 2 novice contest at Haydock, before going one better at Lingfield on New Year's Eve. A handicap mark of 80 followed that third run and through the summer of 2024 he made five racecourse appearances, most notably on 2000 Guineas Day at Newmarket where he finished 5th in a competitive handicap. 

Rockstar Icon struggled to repeat that form in the four runs that followed, and will now be given time to rest and strengthen before potentially reappearing early in 2025 where he can hopefully kick on again for trainers Paul & Oliver Cole.
