I am delighted to say that Rockstar Icon has had a real spring in his step this week. He looks very happy to be ridden again and he has got a real shine to his coat.

You often know how happy a racehorse is by the way he is eating. Rockstar Icon is enjoying his food and is loving life. He was obviously stuck in his box for a while, so for him to get out daily now, he is enjoying every moment.

In terms of his fitness, this is a work in progress, and we are still a long way off him being fit enough to race. However, we will be slowly stepping up his workload each week to get there gradually. Right now, it just involves canters and stretching his legs. The more intense gallops will come over the next few weeks.

There will be plenty of opportunities for him throughout autumn and into winter on the all-weather, and I am sure he is a horse who is going to have success on the track.
