Oliver Cole: 'I should imagine you will see him in action at the end of this month'
My plan is to do some fast work with him at the back end of this week. For now, he is just having a gentle canter and stretching his legs every day. I don’t think he will have gone too far backward with his fitness, but we will of course assess that on the gallops.
I don’t have a race in mind yet for his next appearance, but I should imagine you will see him in action at the back end of this month. There was very little wrong with his run at Lingfield last time out on the all-weather.
All options are open to him when it comes to the surface, and with the slight help from the handicapper, he is now 1lb lower in the ratings (77 from 78).
