Rockstar Icon is starting to come into his summer coat now, so he is a real picture to look at. I think in time, he is a horse who is going to get a mile. We will start him over six furlongs and progressively step him up in distance.

He continues to please on the gallops. He is a horse who really loves his work, so as a trainer that makes my job much easier. I don’t think we are quite ready yet to start identifying races yet, but in the next couple of weeks we could be at that point.

I am going to do another piece of work with him on our carpet gallop tomorrow where he will race over four and a half furlongs. His fitness is improving all the time, which is obviously great news.
