The club's Hugo Palmer-trained two-year-old Cast No Shadow has today been declared for the 18:15 EBF Restricted Novice Stakes at Newcastle on Friday evening.

He was last seen putting in a much improved performance over C&D at the same track when finishing 2nd under jockey Jason Hart. His services this week are required down in Hong Kong as Highfield Princess looks set to line-up in the Group 1 Longines Hong Kong Sprint at Sha Tin, so Hugo Palmer has booked another regular rider for the Manor House team in Ross Coakley to be in the saddle.

Hugo has been very positive about Cast No Shadow since his last run, and this contest has been the plan ever since then, so we're hopeful he can take a step forward and put in another strong performance.
