Diamond Days will head back out over fences for the fourth time in his career, and for the first time this season, when he runs at Plumpton on Monday afternoon.

Following a rather stop-start season last year, Diamond Days made his return to the course for the first time in nearly eight months at Fontwell in mid-October with a solid fourth place finish. Joe Tizzard had said that would be the plan with him for his first run of the term in his pre-season update on Diamond Days last month, before embarking on another campaign over the bigger obstacles. He came out of his first run in good order and Joe told us that it wouldn't be too long until we saw Diamond Days tackle a fence once more, and that time has arrived now!
