Conservative has been declared to make his first start since June, in Division II of the Class 4 Handicap over a mile at Southwell on Thursday at 14:05.

The Scott Dixon-trained five-year-old is set to make his first start in six months, over the course and distance that his last victory came at. Wednesday marks a step down in trip, having run over distances more than a mile in his last seven outings. 

Apprentice jockey Elisha Whittington takes the reins, claiming a valuable three pounds off the back of Conservative.
