Having been around horses all his life, Scott took out his training licence in 2011 after spells as assistant trainer to both Jeremy Glover and Dandy Nicholls. He moved to train at Southwell Racecourse in 2019 and is the only trainer in Britain currently training on a racecourse. He recently opened a second yard at Wolverhampton Racecourse, having smashed his previous best in terms of prize money won.
