Following his positive performance at Yarmouth last week, we're excited to report that Conservative has been declared to run again at Doncaster this Saturday in the 16:35 Class 4 Handicap over 1m2f.

Trainer Scott Dixon had this to say before he formally declared him this morning:

I’ve entered Conservative to run at Doncaster on Saturday where Phil Dennis will partner him in the saddle. I am keen for him to feature again at Donny as I am convinced it is a track that will suit him. The ground didn't favour him last time, and he was unable to do himself justice. In hindsight, we should not have run him that day on bottomless ground.

He has come out of his race at Yarmouth well, and there was a lot to like about that performance. I can’t get him any fitter than he is now, as he is at peak fitness, so he is ready to go again. 

I really want to be the trainer that gives the Coral Racing Club its first winner, and I hope that will be on Saturday at Doncaster.
