Unfortunately, we have suffered another setback with Conservative.

He finished one of his gallops last week looking very sore. As always when we notice something amiss, we got a physio in to assess the horse and they reported that Conservative has pulled a muscle in his back.

The good news is, it’s not an injury that will keep him out of action for long. He had a session with the physio last Friday where he received a deep massage. I’ve booked another session for him at the end of this week.

Before that setback, Conservative was showing some good signs, and I was starting to think about his next possible race. For now, we will continue to monitor him and assess his injury. Hopefully, I will be able to report some positive news next week.
