Unfortunately, I have not declared Conservative to run at Southwell on Thursday as we had planned to do.

He was a little sore yesterday morning as he was cast in the night. This is where a horse lies down too close to a wall or gate and when they get up, they can give themselves a little knock.

With Conservative, he is just a little sore, so it is not something that will keep him out of action for long. I expect he will be ok in a few days.

There are lots of all-weather fixtures over the next few weeks, including at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. I am going to see how he is over the next few days before making a call on his participation there.

If it isn't Boxing Day, I think we will see him in action in the early new year.
