Conservative did a fast piece of work on Tuesday and I was very pleased with what he showed.

I needed to see him go through his paces at full speed before I could start looking at options for him, and I am glad to say he showed me everything I wanted to see.

I’ve just started using heart rate monitors on my horses, including Conservative. They work in the exact same way as they do on footballers and athletes. We will get the data back in a few days, and it will give us a good indication on their performance in training. I look forward to sharing those results with you next week.

I am confident you will see Conservative in action this month. There is a busy all-weather programme in December, so we won’t be short of opportunities for him.
