WATCH: Double header to kick off the week with Diamond Days and Phoenix Of Dreams
Diamond Days was given two entries on Lingfield's Monday afternoon card, with one option over hurdles and the other over fences. After deliberating at declaration time, and having looked at the way the fields were forming up, Joe Tizzard opted to send Diamond Days to the Chase contest at 15:50, as he continues to look to get off the mark over the bigger obstacles.
Next up is Phoenix Of Dreams, who heads to Wolverhampton for only the second time in his career. Following the positive words from jockey, Jason Hart, last time out, John and Sean Quinn wanted to get him back out on the track as soon as possible to see if running him consistently over a sustained period helped him to settle down into his races better. He remains over the six furlong trip, having run his last two races at this distance, and hopefully he continues to improve as the season rolls on.
