Hey Day Baby got her Coral Racing Club career underway yesterday at Southwell where she finished 7th (13 ran) in the 15:05 National Hunt Flat Race over two miles.
Most importantly, she has come out of the race really well and trotted up sound this morning which is great news.
She's A Fine Wine was the runaway winner of the race for Olly Murphy who looks pretty smart, but Jonjo O'Neill Jnr was full of praise for Hey Day Baby and was keen to state she may go straight over hurdles on her next run as she's been schooling well at home.
