Hey Day Baby is a six-year-old daughter of Soldier Of Fortune who was purchased by Jonjo O’Neill for the Coral Racing Club for £45,000 at the Goffs UK Tingle Creek boutique sale in December, having won a point-to-point in Ireland the previous month.
She ran six times over hurdles without success, but showed plenty of improvement for a switch to fences when bolting up on her second start at Market Rasen in August this year.
The O'Neill team will look to keep targeting handicap chase contests with her throughout the 24/25 National Hunt season.
