Hey Day Baby is finally set to make her chase debut on Thursday at Uttoxeter following a series of impressive pieces of work at home.

She's taken to the larger obstacles like a natural following her last run over hurdles at the beginning of May, and the team at Jackdaws Castle have been looking to get her on track as soon as possible for her chase debut. Jonjo & A J O'Neill were set to run her last Saturday at Worcester, only for her to be balloted out due to too many runners being declared.

Today we're delighted to confirm that the club's six-year-old mare has been declared for the Class 5 Handicap Chase (16:50) over three miles at Uttoxeter on Thursday.
